How to Transform Windows 10 into Ubuntu

Follow the steps given below to transform your Windows 10 into Ubuntu :

Step 1: To transform your Windows 10 into Ubuntu, you will need to download Ubuntu Theme For Windows 10. Click here, and you will be redirected to a page from where you can easily download the Ubuntu theme.

Step 2: Once you click on the download button, a zip file will be downloaded to your system. Extract the zip file as shown in the below animation.

Step 3: After extracting the zip file, open the folder in which you’ve extracted the zip file. Inside the folder, you will find two zip files :

  • Ubuntu Dark
  • Ubuntu Light

Step 4: If you want the dark theme, then extract the Ubuntu Dark zip file; otherwise, extract the light one. I will be extracting the dark theme file.

Step 5: Open the folder you’ve extracted in the last step. Inside the folder, you’ll find two files :

  • A folder named Ubuntu Dark
  • Theme file

Step 6:  Copy the Ubuntu Dark folder and the theme file.

Step 7: Paste the copied files in the C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.

Step 8: Now, search Themes and related settings in the search bar of Windows 10 and hit enter.

Step 9: Search the Ubuntu Dark theme and click on it to apply as shown in the below animation.

Step 10:  The next step is to download the Ubuntu iPack. Click here and download the RAR file.

Step 11: Extract the Ubuntu iPack RAR file and open the folder in which you’ve extracted the file.

Step 12: Inside the folder, you will find an application file named Ubuntu iPack. Install the application by double-clicking on it.

Step 13: Wait for the completion of the installation process, and your PC will get its new Ubuntu skin.

So, that’s how you can easily transform your Windows to Ubuntu.
